Export checklist
- 1Locate your saved Revue data export
Revue account access ended in January 2023. Locate the most recent export zip, subscriber CSV, saved issue files, or analytics files you downloaded before the shutdown.
- 2Prepare your subscribers file
Open the subscribers CSV, check that email, name and any notes or plan information are in separate columns, and remove role accounts or invalid addresses you no longer want to email.
- 3Set up fields and tags in Bento
In Bento, create any custom fields you want to keep from Revue, like Twitter handle or plan type, and decide which tags will represent paid, free or imported subscribers.
- 4Import subscribers into Bento
Use Bento's CSV importer to upload your cleaned subscribers file, map each column to the correct field or tag, and run a test import with a small sample first.
- 5Rebuild forms and automations
Replace any Revue signup forms or Twitter profile links with Bento hosted forms or embedded forms, and rebuild simple welcome or onboarding emails as Bento sequences and automations.

- Tag subscribers by source and plan when you import so you can quickly recreate Revue segments in Bento.
- Install Bento tracking before you start sending so you capture anonymous events and on site behavior immediately.
- Use paused or batched sending for the first campaigns to warm up your sending reputation safely.

Watchouts
- Revue has been discontinued, so if you no longer have access to your account you will be limited to whatever exports you already downloaded.
- Email history and detailed issue analytics from Revue cannot be imported into Bento, so save a copy of any reports you want to keep.
- Twitter specific features like the profile subscribe button do not transfer, so plan replacement signup links on your site and social profiles.
