Questions about leaving Kit (ConvertKit).

Will I lose my Kit subscribers and tags when I switch?

Kit's subscriber CSV includes names, email addresses, status, tags, location, attribution data, and custom fields. Import the fields you need into Bento, preserve opt-outs, and keep a secure backup. Historical email activity and automation logic need a separate plan.

Will switching hurt my email deliverability?

No provider can guarantee inbox placement after a switch. Preserve suppressions, configure authentication, verify tracking links, and warm the new setup with engaged recipients. Both Kit and Bento operate deliverability infrastructure, while Bento also includes validation, reputation monitoring, and sending controls.

How long does migration take?

The timeline depends on subscribers, tags, custom fields, forms, landing pages, products, automations, templates, integrations, domains, and reports. A simple newsletter may move quickly. A creator business that uses Kit's full publishing and commerce stack needs more rebuilding and validation.

Will there be downtime?

No. Keep Kit (ConvertKit) running while you import, test, authenticate your sending domain, and warm up. Once Bento is ready, move your sending and phase out Kit (ConvertKit).
