Export from Kit (ConvertKit)

Follow these steps to export your data and prepare for migration.

1. Log in to Kit

Go to Kit.com and log in with your credentials. Select Grow > Subscribers from the navigation.

2. Export Confirmed Subscribers

Below your Lifetime Totals subscriber count, click the type dropdown and select 'Confirmed Subscribers'. Click the checkbox next to SUBSCRIBER, then Bulk Actions > Export. Click OK on the confirmation.

3. Export Other Lists

Repeat the export process for Cancelled, Complained, Bounced, or Cold subscribers if they have contacts. Name each file clearly (e.g., 'cancelled-subscribers.csv').

  • Tags are included in exported CSVs - comma-separate multiple tags
  • Test with your own email first after importing

Watch Out For

  • Lists over 100k rows may be split into multiple CSVs - download all parts
  • If export email doesn't arrive in 10 minutes, check Promotions/Spam folders
  • Tags not assigned to any contacts won't appear in exports
