Brand Indicators for Message Identification (BIMI) lets your verified logo appear next to your emails in inboxes that support it. It gives people a clear visual signal that the message really comes from your brand.
BIMI lets your brand logo show up next to your emails in inboxes that support it. When people scan their inbox they see your logo beside the subject line. That small visual cue makes your messages easier to spot. It also shows that your domain is set up with proper email authentication.
To use BIMI you first need solid email authentication with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC at an enforcement level. Many inbox providers also ask for a Verified Mark Certificate that proves you own the logo. Once this is in place you publish a BIMI record in DNS that points to your logo file. Email providers then decide when to show your logo for messages that pass their checks.
A simple way to start is to fix DMARC and other records first, then work on the logo and certificate. Keep the logo clean, square, and easy to read at small sizes. After setup watch open rates and spam placement to see if performance improves. This helps you see whether the extra cost and effort makes sense for your audience.
