This training walks you from account setup to real automations you can adapt for your business. Work through it in order the first time. Each lesson builds on artifacts you create in the one before it.
The three sections
Welcome & Basics gets your account ready, explains how Bento sends email, and walks you through your first practice broadcast with test subscribers and segments.
Intermediate Skills covers AI-assisted email creation, event-driven flows, behavior triggers, Liquid templating, and bulk operations.
Real Life Use Case Examples shows end-to-end patterns you can copy for lead magnets, carts, promos, and newsletters. That section is still growing. Treat published examples as templates and skip any lesson marked coming soon until it is ready.
How each lesson works
Most lessons pair a video with written steps on the same page.
Watch the video for the walkthrough, then use the written sections for reference while you work in your own Bento account. Action Steps and lab lessons expect you to pause, build, and confirm results before you move on.
When a lesson includes video notes, those are timestamped callouts tied to the recording. They flag UI changes, gotchas, or extra context the video mentions in passing.
Practice artifacts you will build
By the end of Welcome & Basics, you should have working practice records in your account:
- Test subscribers with tags and custom fields
- A broadcast email shell, plus a saved Stripo template and module
- A simple sequence with one email shell
- Segments built from your test data
- A scheduled broadcast targeted with segmentation
You will reuse several of these artifacts in Intermediate Skills, so keep the naming from the Action Steps unless you have a good reason to change it.
When to move on
You are ready for The 3-Step Core Set Up when you:
- Know which of the three course sections you are in and what each one covers
- Understand that lessons combine video and written steps, and that some sections are still being added
- Have a Bento account open so you can follow along in the next lesson
