Migration Flow
A practical migration plan from ActiveCampaign to Bento
This guide follows a simple sequence: export cleanly, map data correctly, then validate before cutover. No generic product pitch, just the steps your team needs.
Stage 1
Export checklist
- 1Log in to ActiveCampaign
Go to ActiveCampaign.com and log in. Navigate to Contacts from the main menu.
- 2Export All Contacts
Go to Contacts > Export. Select 'All Contacts' and choose CSV format. Include all custom fields and tags.
- 3Export by List
If you use multiple lists, export each list separately. Go to Lists, select a list, and use the export option.
- 4Document Automations
Go to Automations and review each active automation. Document triggers, conditions, wait times, and actions.
- 5Export Deals/CRM Data
If using CRM features, go to Deals and export your pipeline data. Note your stages and custom deal fields.
Stage 2
Data portability map
Know in advance what imports directly and what may require a rebuild.
Stage 3
Validate and cut over
Treat cutover like launch QA. Validate your highest-risk paths first, then move sending traffic.
