Sending events with Zapier

Bento is an event-driven service meaning everything that happens, around automations and subscriber updates, happens through events.

To send events from other platforms or tools you can use your Zapier app:

Currently, the integration allows you to do the following:

Create a custom event: create a custom event and send it to a visitor or subscriber in Bento. This could be an event like $optedIn or $leadCaptured that you can use as the basis to start a new automation.

Create a subscriber: triggers a $subscribe event which updates the visitors profile to be subscribed.

Add a tag: adds a manual tag to the visitor.

Create a purchase: creates a unique purchase for a specific visitor.

At the moment, you cannot send data out of Bento to other platforms but we are looking to make that happen in the next few months.
