Do you have a free plan?

Not at the moment, but we have a generous trial you can give a whirl! You can cancel it in one click too!

How do I get a custom quote?

For individualized quotes and price-related inquiries, you can contact our sales team through e-mail at any time, or schedule a call!

Do I really get access to everything on the one plan!?

Yup! Every plan includes access to every feature, we don't believe in feature-gating anything (unless we're testing a beta product on a small batch of customers.) The only major difference between plans is priority sending: Enterprise and other high-spending customers get pushed ahead of all general population queues.

What do I need to install to use Bento?

If you are only using a few of our email marketing features, you just need to upload your list or use our API to import your subscriber data! If you wish to use our analytics, personalization, live chat, or any feature that relies on event tracking, then you should install Bento.js on the frontend of your business, or use our wide range of integrated libraries to forward events to us instead (Zapier or Segment, for example.)

Can I pay upfront for a year?

Absolutely! Just send us a support ticket after you've created your free trial, and we can discuss your needs while making your individualized contract. Once we lock in a rate, we will revisit and adjust every QTR as needed.

How is billing calculated?

Our billing is similar to other email marketing providers - even though we do a lot more - so you will only be charged per identified contact (e-mail address). Your rate may change slightly over time as we continue to grow the business, but for now, we feel our rate is fair. If you feel that it isn't, please contact sales: we offer flexibility with larger accounts.

Will we be charged when our trial is up?

Yes! Because we ask for your credit card upon registration, you will be automatically billed at the end of your free trial period. If you happen to decide that Bento isn't for you, please open a support ticket and ask to cancel before the trial period ends.

Why do you ask for a credit card up front?

Great question! Spammers love to clog up our workloads enough as it is, so we work hard to keep them from being a user of the product. Adding credit card information during sign-up has cut our spam sign-ups by over 95%, leading to better deliverability rates and more focus on development.

Do we pay extra for more people/agents?

Bento is more fun with friends! Unlike other companies, we don't bill for extra hands on the deck. You can add unlimited agents or users to your team for no extra cost.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes! That is, on a case-by-case basis, we do. For example, fresh new startups or charitable causes, of course! Contact our sales team via e-mail, or schedule a call to tell us who you are and why you'd like a reduced rate.

What happens if I abuse my account limits?

We will always reach out first before jumping to conclusions. After a formal warning, if the behavior persists we may turn off your account. If you have a phone number attached to your account, we try to call that a few times before taking any aggressive actions.

Is my data backed up?

The entire Bento platform is backed up, but, like most software providers, unfortunately, your individual account isn't. We advise that you schedule a regular download of your subscriber list (a feature available within Bento) in case you accidentally bulk update or delete your own data.

Can I cancel at anytime?

Sure! Once you start your trial, simply head to the billing tab and you'll be able to cancel with one click or, if you have a very large account, you will be prompted with a custom offboarding flow. You can also reach out to customer support if you want confirmation that your request was recieved.

How long does account approval take?

Please allow us 24 hours to confirm your account and grant sending approval.

Do you ban people?

All the time! Specifically, it's people abusing our service, breaching ToS, or trying to use us for cold email. Within Bento, you'll find a supportive community of e-mail marketers and business owners, and if you play nice and remember to be kind, you'll fit in just fine!

Am I really able to add unlimited sites?

Yes, within reason. We allow users to add as many sites as they need, but we do reserve the right to ask you to consolidate your account if you are adding an excessive amount of sites. We do this to prevent abuse of our service, and to keep our costs low so we can continue to offer a great product at a fair price.

Do you offer refunds?

We do not offer refunds, but we do offer a free trial so you can try out the product before you buy. If you have any questions about the product, please reach out to our support team before you sign up.
